About Haus Kayu
Teak, worked by hand in Jepara.
Haus Kayu is a furniture and woodcraft brand from Jepara, Indonesia. We work with experienced local designers and artisans to make pieces meant for everyday use — and for many years of it.
Our story
Jepara has long been known for its woodworking. The craft is passed down through generations in small workshops around the town.
Haus Kayu was started to bring that craft into homes today: simple forms, honest materials, and careful work. Every piece is cut, shaped and finished by hand — so grain, tone and small details always vary slightly. No two are quite the same.
